So you are really interested in all the Registry Basic stuff? OK – here we go – Autologin for total Beginners.
Click on “Start” and enter “regedit” in the Search Field. Navigate within “regedit” to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon
Change / add the 3 REG_SZ Strings:
- “AutoAdminLogon” set Data to “1”
- “DefaultUserName” set to your Windows Login Name
- “DefaultPassword” set to your current Password
Now you’ll need to reboot and your Windows should logon automatically afterwards.
